After a leisurely drive, we take the train for a return journey on the South Devon
Steam Railway which hugs the beautiful River Dart from its starting point in Buckfastleigh. Then travel the short distance to Buckfast Abbey, located near Buckfastleigh a home to a Catholic Community of Benedictine Monks. From Buckfastleigh travel to the pretty village of Widecombe in-the-Moor situated in the Dartmoor National Park before returning to our hotel.
Full day excursion which begins with a visit to the cathedral city of Exeter. After lunch return to
Exmouth for an afternoon boat cruise along the River Exe.
Long half day excursion visiting the delightful floral town of Sidmouth.
